I’m Lynn, an artist inspired by the natural world. From gardens to open landscapes, I paint what I feel rather than what I see.
Working mainly in acrylics, I build layers of colour and texture to capture movement, light and atmosphere. I don’t stick to brushes - palette knives, kitchen spatulas and found tools often make their way into my work.
Here you’ll find original paintings, fine art prints and books that share my expressive approach, all created with care. I also share my process on YouTube, where I paint, experiment and offer tips to help you bring more freedom and enjoyment into your own work.

My Story
I’ve always loved art, even though my path to painting wasn’t a straight one. After studying science and working in business, publishing and photography, I returned to painting in my forties and fell in love with it all over again.
I’m largely self-taught, learning through workshops with respected artists and, most of all, through steady practice. I’m now fortunate to have my work exhibited in galleries and shared through prints, books and teaching.
My paintings explore the natural world in an expressive, intuitive way. Whether I’m painting flowers, landscapes, or shifting skies, I work instinctively, responding to colour, light, and mood rather than a fixed plan. Each painting unfolds on its own terms, rooted in close observation and a lifelong connection to nature.
