I think it is really special to own a piece of original art. It is one-of-a-kind which is so precious in a world where you can copy and share in an instant. When you look at a painting you own, you are standing in the shoes of the artist, you're standing right where they stood to paint it. You will see marks and textures, nuances that you might miss from a computer screen or print. And I have been told by buyers, that every time they look at a painting they have bought they see something different. Magical.
I like painting small, affordable paintings so that you can dip your toes into the world of original art. Each one takes almost as long as a painting four times its size. I hand-paint each frame. Each painting is painted on either a cradled wood panel, or a wood panel which I float over the frame.
